Saint-Pierre to Paris

France, heritage and exceptional lands… the beach of the anchorage, a photo of Gaspard Ferraty opens this beautiful exhibition in the heart of Paris, on the gates of the Luxembourg Garden. Inauguration this morning in the 6th arrondissement in the presence of the mayor of Saint-Pierre, Christian Rapha, Martin Malvy, former minister and President of the association Sites et Cités Remarquables, the president of the Senate, Gérard Larcher, Hervé Mariton, former minister of overseas. The exhibition will be on view until early July. It will also be roaming in the 12 largest stations in France from 1 to 30 April. Saint-Pierre is a member of the association – network Sites and Remarkable Cities, and it is in this capacity that she was able to participate in this photo contest. 82 cities in France are thus exhibited in this passing place, which hosts on May 10 the commemorative ceremonies of the National Day of Memories of Slavery, The Slave Trade and Abolitions.
